As I went through the course this year my understanding of different learners was
different when I started this course, also my understanding of the Truth and Reconciliation act is
now different as well. The first thing I found that I want to enhance for my teaching style is
making a course that involves more Indigenous culture, like how we had Joseph come to our
second lecture in the course and we learned from him different ways of knowing. I want to also
encourage students to learn more about Indigenous culture because as a future educator I am
learning about Indigenous culture outside of the course. It is interesting as I went through the
links to our Virtual Field trip. I also liked the witness blanket exercise when I was in high school,
this is an amazing experience. As a future educator, I want to also use Minecraft and crocheting in my practice.
